Your handle & subdomain
Your handle is your identity on Partna. The username you choose is also the web address people use to find you.
The username you pick at signup does double duty: it's your handle and it becomes your subdomain. Choose ava and your sitepage lives at ava.partna.au. There's nothing else to set up — the address is live as soon as you publish.
Handle rules
Handles are short and URL-friendly:
- Up to 40 characters.
- Letters, numbers, hyphens (
-) and underscores (_). - Each handle is unique — if someone already has it, you'll pick another.
Renaming your handle
You can change your handle later from Settings. When you rename, Partna keeps your old links working so you don't lose visitors mid-transition:
- Your old handle stays reserved for 14 days, so you can claim it back if you change your mind.
- Visitors hitting your old address are redirected to your new one for 90 days, so bookmarks and shared links keep landing on your page.
Pick a handle you'll want to keep
Your handle is what you print on cards, share in bios, and put on a QR code. It's easiest to choose one you're happy with up front — but renaming is always available if you need it.
Using your own domain instead
Prefer to use a domain you already own? You can point a custom domain at your sitepage in addition to your partna.au address.
