Security

Keep your account safe — change your password, turn on two-factor authentication, and review where you're signed in.

The Security area of Settings is where you manage how you sign in and keep your account protected. There are three parts to it: your password, two-factor authentication, and your active sessions.

Password

You can change your account password from Security at any time. Pick a strong, unique password you don't use elsewhere.

Two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step when you sign in, so a password alone isn't enough to get into your account. Once it's set up, signing in asks for an additional verification step.

Turn on 2FA

Two-factor authentication is one of the best things you can do for your account's security. If you haven't enabled it yet, it's worth doing.

Sessions

Your active sessions show where your account is currently signed in. Reviewing them lets you confirm the sign-ins you recognise and sign out of any you don't.

Some actions may ask you to re-verify

For sensitive changes, you may be prompted to confirm your identity again before the change goes through. This is expected and helps protect your account.
