Spacing, borders & motion

Beyond colour and type, your design kit controls the feel of your page: how roomy it is, how its edges are shaped, and how briskly it animates.

These settings are part of the same design kit as your colours and typography, applied page-wide. Together they set the overall character — from tight and crisp to soft and spacious.

Spacing

A spacing scale controls how much room sits between and inside elements across your page. More space reads as calm and premium; less space reads as compact and dense. One setting keeps the whole page in proportion, so the rhythm stays consistent everywhere.

Borders

You control corner radius and border thickness. Radius sets how rounded cards and elements are — from sharp corners to fully soft — while thickness sets how present the outlines feel. Small changes here noticeably shift how modern or classic the page looks.

Motion

Motion is set by a single pace — slow, normal, or fast — that governs how quickly things animate as visitors move through your page. A slower pace feels deliberate and elegant; a faster pace feels snappy and energetic.

Pace applies everywhere

The motion pace is one page-wide setting, so transitions stay consistent across whichever layoutyou've chosen — nothing animates at odds with the rest.

Leaving the defaults

As with the rest of the design editor, every one of these has a sensible default. Adjust the ones that matter to your look and leave the rest — untouched settings simply use their default value.
